Worth it

This desk is neat and solid. Parts came well packaged. I checked that all parts were received (yes) and reviewed the assembly instructions. Assembly took about 3 hours for 1 person (I'm handy) and you need to review the diagrams carefully - take your time. Nice that there were extra parts included. Lovely desk at the end of the process. Drawers were the fussiest assembly. I changed the color of the drawer pulls.

Front is nice... back completely Unfinished

This is a very nice desk when you look at it from the front, but when you turn is around it is completely unfinished. If you buying this desk you HAVE to place it against a wall other wise the unfinished ugly part will face everyone that comes in front.

There is a reason why you can only see the front of the desk in the picture and not the back.

The wood covered surface can be easily scratched, I suggest using a glass on top of this desk if you want to keep it looking nice for a while.

caveat emptor

This took awhile to put together. Like others said, the instructions aren't very clear. The desk top was cracked across the width when removed from packing. I called Amazon and they said to send the whole thing back. I then called the manufacturer and they promptly shipped me a replacement (solid wood)desk top no questions asked!

Good desk for the money.

This desk took me about 2 hours to put together. (The hutch took a little over an hour.) I can see how someone might get confused, the directions are not great, but if you take your time, you'll be fine. No real wood, but feels pretty sturdy once its together. Comes with platic cams, but I actually think thats a good thing, less chance of shredding the fiber wood, a bit more play in them then die-cast. Overall I'm happy, looks great!

Inexpensive Desk

The desk looks great in the picture but is darker and has no full back so you see particle board. I spent more money making a real bacl. Spend the extra money!
